360 ALLSTARS Cast on stage

Review: 360 ALLSTARS

We review 360 ALLSTARS at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe!

BMX, basketball, breakdancing, acrobatics, drumming and more, the international smash hit returns!

To start the Adelaide Fringe Festival of this year, I’ve just taken my seven year old son Henry to see 360 old stars. What a great family show. 360 ALLSTARS is running until the 17th of March, 2024 – So you’ve got a whole month to get in and see this fabulous performance.

What We Saw

Well, after having seen this show, I can tell you when they call it ALLSTARS, they definitely weren’t joking. This was such a well thought out and brilliantly choreographed show, starting with an amazing introduction with a drummer and the MC, Miss Sunshine, all the way from Ghana with her amazing voice, not to mention the drumming going along with it, introducing each performer.

I didn’t know what to expect, but it just came together so well. My cheeks hurt from smiling so hard and my shoulders were shaking and grooving to the weight my feet were tapping – as everyone else’s in the audience.

I feel like I’ve done my own work out just after sitting there and watching it and all the while I just kept thinking “Is it too late for me to start a career in learning how to be an acrobat or ride a BMX bike?”
I was ready to run away and join the circus myself.

My Son’s Favourite Part

“Henry, We’ve just walked out of 360 ALLSTARS. What was your favourite part?”

“My favourite part was probably the dancing part when they were playing the games”

“Oh, the break dancers? The B-boys, when they pretended that were in a video game? That was really funny, wasn’t it?”

360 ALLSTARS really has something for everyone. One minute there’s someone doing unbelievable tricks on a BMX bike, jumping in the air, standing upside down on it and flinging that bike in directions that you didn’t think it could be flung. There’s someone rolling around in a giant hoop. There’s beatboxing. There’s what are they called? B-Boy’s battling it out with their breakdancing. We got excited when they put their beanies on because we figured that must be time for them to be spinning on their heads and we were right. It was so good.

This show does not miss a beat. Amazing performers working in harmony, showcasing their unbelievable talent and dedication to their craft, not to mention the sheer abdominal strength.

The Review Rating

I give this 360 ALLSTARS show, 5 Auscast play buttons buttons out of five. If I’m going out on a limb here and saying one of my favourite Adelaide Fringe shows of all time, highly recommend – there’s a raise and it’s getting rave reviews.
