The main card opened with MJF vs. Daniel Garcia. This intense match set the tone for the night, with MJF using underhanded tactics to secure a win. Rhys points out, “MJF’s going full heel again.” The Young Bucks also defended their titles against Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. While a solid match, Rhys remarks, “The Bucks don’t need the championships anymore.”
Other noteworthy matches included Will Ospreay defeating Pac for the International Championship and the Chicago Street Fight between Chris Statlander and Willow Nightingale. Rhys called it “brutal, your typical AEW street fight with trash cans and light tubes.”

Controversial Wrestling Moments and The Main Event
The night was full of shocking moments, but nothing topped the unsanctioned steel cage match between Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland. In this chaotic bout, Hangman came out on top, but not without some controversial spots. “There was an unprotected chair shot to the head and a hypodermic needle involved,” Rhys reports, which drew criticism from fans due to the dangerous nature of these stunts. Despite these moments, Rhys sums up the match as “one of the most wild matches in AEW history.”
