Entertainer | Singer | Cabaret Performer
From children’s entertainment to cabaret, Aaron Collis is a born and bred Adelaidian who has done it all.
Since performing as a member of the Johnny Young Talent Team at the tender age of five, Aaron has sung and performed with a vast array of bands and shows for the past 25 years.
His role as Disco D in local kids pop band sensation The Funkees led him to shoot his first short length film and perform multiple times to a crowd of over 35,000 people at the Elder Park Carols By Candlelight.
Aaron continued his career with local performers Deanna Carbone and Celeste La Scala in the hit cabaret show Two Brunettes And A Gay… which has been a crowd favorite and staple at the Adelaide Fringe Festival for the past eight years.
Most recently, Aaron has performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre as part of ABBA: Orchestrated, premiered his very first solo cabaret show ‘Madonna Made Me Gay!’ and regularly performs as the lead singer of local acoustic duo The Laidback Lads.
