Deanna Carbone

Cabaret Performer | Singer | Singing Teacher

Deanna Carbone is a Professional Cabaret Performer and Company Founder and Director of Voicehouse, one of Australia’s largest vocal studios teaching adults how to sing.

She started performing in front of audiences at just 4 years old, and after studying singing, dancing, acting and piano for most of her earlier years, Deanna undertook studies at Adelaide University’s prestigious Elder Conservatorium of Music.

Deanna’s professional career started in children’s entertainment, where she got her first ‘big break’ at the age of 20 as Poppi the Pop Princess in Adelaide’s favorite children’s group The Funkees. The group toured all around South Australia and performed with big names such as Jessica Mauboy, for crowds of up to 35,000 people.

More recently, Deanna is known for her part in the hit cabaret show, ‘Two Brunettes And A Gay’, with Aaron Collis and Celeste La Scala.

The group has been fortunate enough to have totalled 8 consecutive seasons on stage, including the Adelaide & Fringe and other Australian festivals and is now taking on the media with their very own radio show & podcast in 2023.
